- The major courses of study in PUC are Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Further, English, Telugu, Information Technology and Biology are also the courses of study in PUC. Students studying Elementary Biology in both PUC1
and PUC2 have to pass in the subject, and grades secured are not considered for calculating SGPA/CGPA.
- It is informed that PUC is equivalent with Intermediate offered by Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. RGUKT provides exit option after PUC. A student can continue in B.Tech or join elsewhere in any
university with PUC.
- M.BiPC group in PUC is reintroduced in RGUKT from the academic year 2021-22. Students opting to study M.BiPC will have their PUC certificate issued with M.BiPC group. The grades secured in Biology under M.BiPC group are considered
for calculating SGPA/CGPA and included in the PUC certificate based on which branch in first year of B.Tech (E1) in RGUKT shall be allocated.
